Lisyli Hardin and Robin Deeming were two wonderful caring lesbian women who lived at Rising Moon in 1974. Rising Moon was one of the early women's lands located in rural Aitkin, Minnesota, with one small farmhouse and 160 acres of prairie with a creek.
On New Year's Eve in 1973, the farmhouse burned down, and the remains can be seen in the foreground of the landscape, in front of the snow people. Lisyli and Robin remodeled a shack to live in.
